The Solution to Boredom at a Meeting

Best Veteran's Day EVER!

I retired from active military service in July, but we waited to celebrate the occasion on Veteran's Day - a magnificent two for one. Plenty of good food and even better drink was had. One Last Time

Sunday at the Northwest Armory, Chicago, IL When I retired, I sort of slipped out the door with little notice. No big worry, that is how I came into the Army too. Memorial Day Admonition

As appears to be custom with me now, I would remind people that today is about those that have died in the service of this country, and remembering them and their families. That is it.Not thank a Veteran for his or her service day, sale day or bbq day. Though all those do have their place - the purpose of Memorial Day is none of those things.
