Kabul girl and her mother 1973
This is a spooky image taken out of our car window as we drove by. (That's the door edge on the right). The girl is smiling for my father and perhaps catches a glimpse of one of the three boys in the car but it is the mother standing behind this girl that you wonder about. Show More Summary
Nation, Clearly Kat Meyer and the organizers of Tools Of Change Frankfurt are so desperate for speakers this year that they've decided to throw caution to the wind and ask me to man/woman one of their panels. It should be fun and I expect there will be more in attendance than the seven or eight people the last time I spoke at Frankfurt. Show More Summary

Niagara, New York 1968
The PND Seniors visited in 1968 when PND senior was attending Cornell for the summer. I've never been but I am thinking of ways to put it in my schedule.
Mrs PND recently unearthed some of her family's slide collection and sure enough there's an image similar to this one from 1958. Show More Summary

A re-post originally from November 9, 2009:

Evonne Goolagong Kooyong 1976
Through family friends we had members tickets to Kooyong and at the 75, 76 and 77 championships I was able spend many full days there. On this day, for some reason I don't recall, Moms PND and I got to sit court side and someone let me use their 35mm camera. Show More Summary

Central Market, Hong Kong June 1972
These ducks/geese seem drugged to me in the manner in which they are submissively sitting on the sidewalk. They are quietly sitting outside the Hong Kong central market (which I think is still there) and they'll probably be sold live to customers inside the market. Show More Summary
