A track that has been on high rotation is Stockholm-based duo Kings of the Universe's excellent remix of Mercury's "Let's celebrate". The duo with the humble name have been purveyors of great old-school house for a couple of years now, so a post about them have been on the cards for some time. Show More Summary
Actually have to admit that this new Holy Ghost! track "Dumb Disco Ideas" actually slipped my radar. It's taken from their upcoming album "Dynamics" released on DFA Records. Sounds promising I must say. Always been a big fan and admired what Holy Ghost! done so far, so with this new one I can only hope for a new huge album to come!
Like a blast from the past, one of our favourite producers of the synthier nu disco sound that we used to love (and still do), Cinnamon Chasers, is back with a new EP tomorrow. As much as we like that deep, stripped-down house sound at the moment, Russ Davies reminds us of the power of flowing synthesizer soundscapes filled with nice harmonies. Show More Summary
These are the three latest releases from one of our favourite labels OFF Recordings. The latest one is a teaser for the next to come release No 61 with Panos & Sentenza. The release consists of three tracks where one of them is a sweet remix from fellow OFF-people in Leftwing & Cody. Show More Summary
Today the release of "Strandbar" from Todd Terje is out on Olsen Records. The release comes with three different versions of the same track. The "disco" and the "samba" version are two long faves of mine, sine I first heard them about a month ago. These tracks could be a huge part of the summer tunes we will play and dig. Buy the release over at Beatport.
Today the Finnish mastermind Erkka releases the "Excommunication/Air Condition" EP on Anjunadeep. "Excommunication" has been one of our favourite tunes when djing for quite a while and now we have the chance to hear and play another sweet gem in "Air Condition". Genious music for ya! Buy the EP over at Beatport.
Straight out from Helsinki Dr Pecco is waving towards us with some retro-futuristic tunes. The heavy bomb "Pornographica" got me hooked immediately and then I had to check out some more tracks from Dr Pecco and many of them won my ears right away. This summer he will release the EP "Thrill". Give him your support and head over to his SoundCloud to check out more tunes!
Nightly is the new side project from Christian Strobe, where he goes much deeper underground. Acid, techno and deep house in the best combination! We love it and keep in mind that we are hungover in Paris. The first two remixes out from Nightly is one of Disclosure, that is dope! The one of Gesaffelstein is one acid ravish one.
We have this exclusive remix for you from Sally Shapiro and Young Galaxy. Tomorrow Sally Shapiro and Paper Bag Records will release the remix album "Elsewhere" that is based on the album "Somewhere Else" released earlier this year. Canadian...Show More Summary
So, I haven't really come to a conclusion about Daft Punk's album yet. It actually took me a week before I even listened through it, due to the over-hype, but the initial reaction is that it's pretty good. And while my reservations still...Show More Summary

Sally Shapiro will release their new album "Elsewhere" May 28 on one of our favourite labels Paper Bag Records. Before the release Dan Lissvik has made his version of "If It Doesn't Rain". You know by now that Dan Lissvik is on of my Gods within music and once again he shows us why.
This Moon Boots tune is so fresh that you can still see the smoke around it. And what a track then! Smokin' new and also smokin' hot, what more do you need? That it comes with a free DL? Yeah, ok then. Total Tuesday happiness thanks to French Express, best label there is!
Latest news from the Miami dudes of Dude Skywalker are that they made this new release together with Nightdrive Miami and Fordistas XII. The release that is out for free is this new Dude Skywalker tune "Feel Good" that a bunch of other South Florida people have remixed also. Show More Summary
Seems like it's free download/grey promo pic Tuesday. This time it's some nice deep house for later this evening from Rhythm Operator. So smooth and funky. Also, Mr Operator did an interview with Dance Till You're Dead that is well worth checking out.
More free mp3s for you. This time from Clancy, who we hopefully will be seeing in Stockholm in the autumn. Stay tuned! "The Way You Dance" is a couple of hours old, while "All Just In My Mind" was included on The Magician's Magic Tape 31. Like Clancy on Facebook!
Great to see one of our (many) French Express favourites, Isaac Tichauer, back in great form after somewhat of a hiatus. Here's a very promising teaser, a generous freebie and the latest of his great mixtape series. Download "Take Over You" for free here.
Here's the second Du Tonc single fresh from disco ocean. This means more great disco from the super collaboration between Mighty Mouse and Matt Van Schie of Van She. Also, check out Mighty Mouses's Spring 2013 for more sunny feels if you don't want to plat the above song completely to bits.
Our dear friend Xinobi has this new one "Puma" out on Discotexas. Another sweet deep house tune from the Portuguese master. As much as we love him as much must he love me, due to the homage of the name of the track: "Puma". Cheers Xinobi! On the same release, that you by the way can get over at Beatport, another gem in "Woods" is there for you.
