Monster Hunter Stories, the turn-based RPG spin-off of Capcom's popular action series, will make its western debut in Europe on 8th September. A North American release is expected to follow later this year. As the title suggests, Monster Hunter Stories is like Monster Hunter, but with a story. Show More Summary

Watch: Chris plays The Binding of Isaac for the first time

I adore The Binding of Isaac. I used to play it every day without fail, losing myself for an hour or more in the nightmarish caverns of Isaac's mum's basement. With so many hours (and deaths) racked up, I was alarmed to learn that Chris had never played it at all, so I sought to fix that in this week's Late to the Party. Show More Summary

PES 2018 is definitely not coming to Switch

While the world wondered whether the Switch's FIFA was going to be the real deal or not, there's a slightly more definitive answer when it comes to that other long-running football series. Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 is not coming to Nintendo's Switch, Konami has confirmed - though it is open to the idea in future. Show More Summary

Ever Oasis review

There's a curiously old-fashioned feel to Ever Oasis - though perhaps not so curious when you realise it's been made by Grezzo, the studio hitherto best known for its 3DS remakes of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, and led by Secret of Mana director Koichi Ishii. Show More Summary

Hearthstone's next expansion will make acquiring new cards a lot easier

Hearthstone's next expansion will alter the entire game, making it a lot easier to acquire new cards. Possibly the biggest change will be that every time you acquire a Legendary card it will be one you don't already own. This will be true of all Hearthstone card packs, not just new content. Paradox performs price rise U-turn following fan backlash

Pillars of Eternity and City Skylines publisher Paradox Interactive has performed a U-turn on its recent price increases after an intense fan backlash. Meet the dev making a Switch game in a Hounslow Costa Coffee

It is, without a doubt, one of the strangest places I've ever been to visit a developer. Out towards the extremities of the Piccadilly line, where the hum of the underground is met by the muted thunder of planes coming into land at Heathrow, and then out beyond for a long, grey walk along the edges of the A4 where traffic rolls past. Back in February I saw a prototype of Valve's upcoming VR controller and now the full design has been revealed. You may not have heard of Ashraf Ismail. Assassin's Creed fans know him as the creative director of Black Flag - AKA the best game in the series not featuring Ezio. How Call of Duty: WW2's Headquarters was inspired by World of Warcraft's Orgrimmar

If you ever played World of Warcraft, you'll be familiar with its cities. For me it was Stormwind and Ironforge, both huge virtual spaces packed with buildings, NPCs and, crucially, players. I'd go there to meet up with my friends, show off my cool new gear and of course check the mail. Show More Summary
