Words By Retro Boogie Pastels on sneakers, again. Reebok’s catering to the ladies in this year’s Question Mid & Kamikaze II ‘Easter Pack.’ For anyone wondering why the Questions look mad feminine, they only come in kids’ sizes. Perfect for the bae, or for the side piece who asks why you don’t buy her Reeboks no more.
Only two games happened last night but both held a direct impact on the West’s playoff picture. Color me surprised Golden State couldn’t clinch at home. Even with a 20-point lead in the first half and that marvelous Iggy crossover move...Show More Summary

Poor Quincy Miller. With just six days left in his season, the Nuggets forward had just four games left to make sure he doesn’t end up on Sportscenter or become a trending topic for all the wrong reasons. Enter Andre Iguodala. After that cross I half expected Iggy to channel his inner Hot Sauce and just throw the ball into the crowd and end the game early.
It’d be heresy if an artist had flipped Outkast’s “Hold On, Be Strong” and not brought his or her A+ game, but Stat Quo totally gets it. The Atlanta emcee not only etched an emotionally compelling rags-to-riches tale on his particular...Show More Summary
Despite having a number one album on his hands, Rick Ross takes no days off. The fat man hops on Miguel’s 2012 hit “How Many Drinks” to bless us all with smooth, thug love rhymes for our listening pleasure.
So much for a quiet offseason for the Sam Francisco 49ers. The Niner nation had their world rocked this morning after Colin Kaepernick’s name landed on the radar in relation to an odd sexual incident. Every time a situation involving allegations and he-said, she-said pop up, we’re hesitant to jump the gun and ending up with egg on our faces.
Initially, I had a really strong write-up on Mill Meek’s “How We Roll” because it was very dope. Then, the word came down that the song was a couple of years old and it was leaked by the unknown, featured artist, Betrayal. How ironic. The best part of “How We Roll” is how subdued but effective Meek’s vocals are.
By now, everyone should be familiar with the relationship Rich Homie Quan formed with the Michigan State football team last season. United by Quan’s hit “Some Type of Way,” the Spartans upended the traditional Big Ten football powers–like...Show More Summary

I was a preacher’s kid. Along with my mom, I grew up with my granddad, who was a strict minister. He had us in church every Sunday. From Sunday school, to devotional service, to morning service, afternoon service, and the occasional revival, I spent much of my youth warming the hard wooden pews of my local St.

I’ve been to SXSW four times. On average, I probably bring home about 30 or so CDs – which doesn’t take into account the CDs I left at bars or just lost track of. For the first couple of years at SXSW until my car’s CD player broke, I’d actually try to listen to parts of every CD on the way from Austin to New Orleans.
Well, that happened fast. If you’re at all like me, Sriracha hot sauce isn’t just a condiment to be used towards the betterment of pizza, eggs, and burritos. It’s a way of life. Sadly enough, though, the actual manufacturing of said hot sauce – particularly, Huy Fong Foods Inc. brand, which is the only kind to really be aware of – is kind of a burden on the community.

Auto-Tune is the name of the game in “Show You,” an Iamsu/50 Cent tag team that didn’t quite make the final Sincerely Yours tracklist. Which may or may not be a bad thing; yeah, 50 still brings a certain level of star power, but “Show You” really doesn’t seem like an organic fit on any album, working better as a loosie.
It’s not every day that you wake up with a chance to hop on the phone with a true-to-life idol. Or to hear yourself broadcast across national TV either. Our David D. did both yesterday as he was called on to speak with TV host Nancy Grace and Diamond Dallas Page about the untimely passing of Ultimate Warrior.
There’s something cinematic about “Divided.” Sinister and haunting, popping this track in your ears while walking alone, at night, is probably a recipe for disaster, lest you wish to experience some detached, existential thoughts. In short, it’s not for anybody with a rigid sonic diet, but those of us who like to deviate a bit will end up coming back for more.
The Thunder came into Wednesday night’s game knowing they had to do work. OKC held only a 1.5 game lead over Los Angeles for the two spot in the West and needed the road win to stay ahead. With their starting five in place for the first time in a long time, the Thunder managed to eek out a 107-101 win in a match-up that could likely repeat itself in the playoffs.
