I’m considering hypnotherapy to assist with weight loss, has anyone tried this in Canberra? Any recommendations? Disclaimer: I know weight loss is relatively simple: eat less, mostly plants, move more. I’m after a little help.

Recommendations for metal fencing contractors ?

I need to replace a 25+ year old wooden fence – preferably with a metal one because the old wooden one has some termites in it. Any recommendations for metal fencing contractors – recent experiences preferred.  Not after a dirt cheap job – just a good job. Thanks.

Weekend Cafe Hot Spot: Eightysix

Eightysix is by far my absolute favourite Canberra restaurant, so when I heard they had re-introduced a breakfast menu I was ecstatic and a little bit intrigued. How would it work, what dishes were they going to serve? Was I going to have to share my breakfast, the most important meal of the day? I’ve been waiting patiently [...]

2 days agoAustralia / Canberra : RiotACT

Hi, just wondering whether anyone could advise on what one might expect to pay in body corporate fees for a two bed, two bath, 80m living apartment off the plan in Canberra at the moment? It is a small complex of around 30 apartments with no pool or gym, and one lift. The complex also combines [...]

Court reforms working: Productivity Commission

2 days agoAustralia / Canberra : RiotACT

Simon Corbell says reforms to the ACT Courts have led to reduced waiting times in the Supreme Court and Coroner’s Court, according to the Productivity Commission’s Report on Government Services. State of the Capital – Weekly Political Wrap 2/2/15

Life without Katy  Chief Minister Andrew Bar has not enjoyed an entirely perfect kick-off in the top job. Once a Knight’s enough

2 days agoAustralia / Canberra : RiotACT

So everyone in the known universe is criticising the PM for making the Duke of Edinburgh a Knight of the Order of Australia. I might have a go too. Much has been written about the hideous anachronism of the reintroduction of the awards of knights and dames and rightly so. Long ago, we shrugged off the [...]
