Parks Department: "About Those Spikes in Green Lake..."

"...Our bad." Yes folks, the great Green Lake spike saga has been solved and it is all the Parks Department's fault. Police have closed the case into a possible local foot hater, after the Parks Department realized that they had placed the spikes in the lake--more than 20 years ago. The originally curved metal stakes were used to hold down plastic sheeting on the bottom of the lake.
