1. When did you first see The Joffrey Ballet perform?It was in the 70s here in Chicago, probably to see The Nutcracker. We always went to see The Joffrey when they were in Chicago. Ruth Levy, my wife’s mother, was close friends with Bob and Jerry; whenever they came to town they paid her a visit.2. How often did The Joffrey Ballet perform in Chicago before the company moved here?The company performed in Chicago more than in any other city in America.
