‘Dance’ Triumphs for Fox, ‘Wipeout’ Debuts Almost Flat

Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance” ranked as the top show Wednesday night, while ABC’s “Wipeout” returned with slightly lower ratings than last year’s debut. Fox’s two-hour Wednesday night premiere of “Dance” scored a 3.5 rating/10 share among adults 18-49 and 8.6 million viewers, according to preliminary Nielsen figures. “Dance” also showed strong growth from first half hour to final half hour, increasing 41% over the time period.
