After a campaign season in which gay issues often grabbed headlines, there was little talk of LGBT issues during the inauguration Monday of Mayor Kasim Reed and Atlanta’s other elected officials.
Reed (top photo) became the city’s 59th mayor during a two-hour inauguration at the Civic Center, an affair dominated by oaths, prayers and cameos from former mayors, civil rights icons and nationally-known figures including Rev.
