Ian Paisley Jr. has been taking the SDLP's Chief Whip Patsy McGlone to task over the SDLP's summer campaign for an emergency recall of the Assembly. The DUP North Antrim MLA has circulated Mr McGlone's letter to his fellow MLAs asking them to petition the Speaker for a return of Stormont. Ian Jr. points out that the Speaker's office has not received a single copy of the letter and argues that this reveals the initiative was "nothing more than a publicity stunt".
