We know we're a little heavy on the NYC hotel scene today and we do apologize for that but we've got some disturbing news--The Milford Plaza (sing it now, The Lullabuy of Broadway") has closed. A Twitterer tipped us off to this yesterday saying that the hotel started and then stopped some renovations. When we hit up the website today, the site greeted us with this ominous sounding note: The Milford Plaza Hotel closed on December 12, 2009, and the planned renovation of the hotel has been suspended while the owner assesses its options with respect to the property.
