Following four days of hearings that began in late June, the Senate Judiciary Committee is voting on Elena Kagan’s Supreme Court nomination today. A favorable vote would advance the nomination to the full Senate for final confirmation.
If she is confirmed, Kagan would be the fourth woman to join the nation’s highest court.
