I'm coming to admire Shirley Sherrod more and more everyday. She is strong, forthright and clearly has a commitment to justice.
Her story is remarkable.
Her father, who was farmer, was killed by a white man -shot in the back - who was also a farmer. He was not held accountable for his crime.
This is a woman who has seen much injustice in her life, yet sought to function with love in her heart regardless of the hate she's been forced to endure along with its effects.
