The Federal Trade Commission is considering launching a probe into Google's dominance of the online search market, according to a report.
But before the FTC initiates any possible antitrust investigation, the commission is waiting to see whether or not the U.S. Justice Department goes through with an antitrust lawsuit it's been muling over that would aim to stop Google's $700-million purchase of ITA Software, according to a report from Bloomberg, which cited two unnamed people "familiar with the matter.
