Just when you think you've got the NYPD pegged, they throw you a curve. We thought they were hell bent on hassling cyclists, but here we have video of them spontaneously arresting a man for "ridiculing" a cyclist as they issue a summons for biking on the sidewalk. An unidentified passerby scolds the cyclist as he strolls by, saying, "You're a grown man, you know better than that!" (The cyclist wisecracks, "I just got my training wheels off and I'm afraid of the streets.
