D.C. treats stinky ginkgo trees

D.C. officials have started to spray ginkgo trees around the city to prevent the unpleasant odor of its fruits. The District Department of Transportation’s Urban Forestry Administration began spraying the popular trees on Tuesday night. The spraying began in Wards 1, 2 and 6 where the trees are most prevalent and will then continue in the other wards.The treatment will be done over the next few nights.
