Evgeny Lagunov captured the gold medal in the Men’s 100m freestyle event on the final day of the 2011 Russian Cup in Ruzi, Russia, on Monday, July 4. Lagunov completed his distance in a winning time of 49.33 seconds.
Meanwhile, Vitaly Syrnikov settled second in 49.57 seconds and Vladimir Morozov earned third place honours in 49.
