Despite being down in the game at two points, the Tampa Bay Rays were able to defeat the Seattle Mariners 3-2. Part of this is thanks to the solid pitching performance of Wade Davis of the Rays, out-dueling "King Felix" Hernandez of the Mariners. Davis went seven strong innings, allowing only two runs, one earned. His counterpart Hernandez went eight innings giving up only three runs.
