Back in August, HP made the surprising announcement that they were giving up on their PC division. Today, HP called an audible and decided to keep their PC division. Honestly, this makes a lot more sense. HP without PCs would have just been weird.
Meg Whitman, the new president and CEO of HP, said that the company researched their PC division (known as Personal Systems Group or PSG) and decided more of the same was the right course.
