Barnes & Noble's Nook Simple Touch eReader is getting a $79 variant specifically for Black Friday.
A limited number of the eInk-touchscreen eReaders have been built with a new white border and dropped to $79 specifically to be sold in-stores-only on the Friday after Thanksgiving, which is traditionally considered the start of the holiday shopping season.
Aside from that, the Nook Simple Touch's Black Friday edition is the same as the regular $99 unit that's normally found in Barnes & Noble bookstores and online.
