Charlotte Firefighter Will Not Be Charged In Shooting Death
FOX News Charlotte is reporting that the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office and CMPD have determined that no charges will be filed against the off-duty firefighter involved in this shooting and that his actions did not rise to the level of criminal conduct in the death of James David Lambert.LambertDuring the course of the investigation CMPD detectives determined that the resident positioned himself between his car and the truck Lambert was operating in an attempt to detain Lambert until police arrived.
