The Chicago White Sox were all-in in 2011. They spent a lot of money on Adam Dunn, A.J. Pierzynski and Paul Konerko. They also had huge contracts invested in Jake Peavy and Alex Rios. On paper (meaning money), they looked to be World Series contenders last year. Yeah, how did that work out for them?
