A new Des Moines Register poll shows Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) would best President Obama in the Hawkeye State if the general election were held today.
In the Iowa Poll, which surveyed 800 Iowa adults over Feb. 12-15 and had a margin of error of 4 percentage points, Paul would take 49 percent to Obama’s 42 percent.
