I recently wrote an article comparing Marshawn Lynch, an up-and-coming bona fide NFL superstar, and Shaun Alexander, a former Seattle sports icon. With Shaun Alexander passing the torch in a way to Marshawn Lynch, I thought about the torch being passed from Holmgren to Carroll. Oh sure, there were a couple head coaching changes before Carroll came to town, but they were extremely forgettable reigns.
