Post by Kim Conte Davy Jones, lead singer of The Monkees, TV star, and teenage heartthrob of the '60s, died Wednesday in a Florida hospital after suffering a heart attack. He was 66. He is survived by his third wife, Jessica Pacheco-Jones, and four daughters from two previous marriages. There are many people who wouldn't have known who Davy Jones was were it not for a classic episode of The Brady Bunch in which Marcia Brady is president of a Davy Jones fan club and tries to get the singer to perform at her school prom.
