The Miami Heat were being greedy and got their hand stuck in the cookie jar. Holding a 27-point lead just before the half against the New Jersey Nets on Tuesday night, Dwyane Wade took an unnatural step to avoid the defense and was forced to leave the game, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst:
Wade has a right ankle injury. Return questionable.
While every Wade injury should rightfully scare Heat fans, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel makes it clear that the injury isn't incredibly serious: Dwyane Wade has what the Heat are calling a 'tweaked' right ankle.
