Suspended Auburn point guard Varez Ward is being investigated for potential point shaving by the FBI, Yahoo!'s Charles Robinson reports.
Ward has been suspended for "violating team rules" since Feb. 25. Robinson says that coaches contacted the FBI after they became aware of the possible point shaving in late February.
"Point shaving" is when a player sabotages his team on purpose so they don't cover the point spread, ostensibly because he has money on it.
