Warner Bros. Asking Tom Cruise to Join Beyoncé in 'A Star is Born'
Later this year we'll see Tom Cruise rocking hard in his first musical as Stacee Jaxx in Rock of Ages, but it sounds like the superstar now has the singing bug. Deadline has word that Warner Bros. is courting Cruise to take the lead role in the remake of A Star is Born from director Clint Eastwood. While the film was looking to start production last month, in August of last year, we learned that Beyoncé Knowles, who has already been cast in the film, had caused a delay due to her pregnancy.
