NBC News has fired a producer involved in broadcasting an edited version of a 911 call in which George Zimmerman appears to racially profile Trayvon Martin before shooting him. The employee was reportedly fired on Thursday after NBC was forced to apologize over the misleading segment on its flagship 'Today' show.The network had launched an internal investigation into the audio clip which had omitted the dispatcher's questions and taken the shooter's comments out of context.
