It was a horrific tragedy when Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother, and nephew were murdered back in 2008, and today (April 9) jury selection will begin.
The prosecution and defense will be seeking to pick twelve jurors and six alternates from the 150 people pooled for the William Balfour case.
Given Ms. Hudson’s involvement in the proceedings, it may be difficult to find unbiased and neutral participants to sit on the jury.
