Girl reported missing since 2006 found safe in Loudoun

STERLING, Va. — The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office says a child abducted from California in 2006 has been found safe in Sterling. The girl, now 12, was found Monday with her mother, Maria Cano, in a home in Sterling after Los Angeles police received a tip though the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children web site.
