Etan Patz: The resurrection of a 33-year-old missing child case
On May 25, 1979, 6-year-old Etan Patz disappeared while walking to the bus stop near his home in New York City. The frantic search for the boy drew national attention and raised awareness of child abductions, and Etan became the first child to appear on the side of a milk carton.
