ATLANTA - A lightweight bout that was an early favorite for "Fight of the Night" and "Knockout of the Night" honors didn't live up to the expectations.
However, Anthony Njokuani's consistent barrage of body and leg kicks carried him to a unanimous-decision victory over fellow striker John Makdessi.
The fight was part of tonight's UFC 145 event at Atlanta's Phillips Arena.
