Iggy Pop to Release Album of Mostly French Covers

Iggy Pop, true Francophile: The punk vet will follow up his 2009 record Préliminaires with an album of covers called Après that includes of lot of singing in French, according to his website (via NME). The record will feature his take on songs by Edith Piaf, Serge Gainsbourg, the Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Yoko Ono, Harry Nilsson, and more.
