Samsung has announced that its Exynos 4 Quad system-on-a-chip will power the upcoming Galaxy S 3 phone. The Galaxy SII offered great performance and competed well with the iPhone 4S in 2011. The Galaxy S3 is expected to compete well with the next iPhone. The Exynos 4 Quad is a quad-core chip made with a 32nm process. It runs at 1.4GHz, and is based on ARM Cortex A9 technology.
