Deep Thought: Does Christie really need the Town Hall cheering section?

We've got upteen Google alerts that snap our attention to the endless speculation, and GOP salivating, that Chris Christie will be (Willard) Mitt Romney's Veepstakes pick. Not likely. But these stories are like, er, something else: everybody has one. And such speculation's pure popcorn to us.
