Hand it to Paul Krugman: He's not out to make friends.
Today he appeared on ABC's Sunday morning show, This Week, and then immediately wrote a blog post basically calling all of his other panelists dumb. Those other panelists include such names as Google's Eric Schmidt, Carly Fiorina, former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm, George Will, and David Walker.
As Krugman sees it, all these "serious people" spout nothing but cliches (entitlement reform! more education! tax reform! more help for small businesses!) whereas the crux of the problem in the US, says Krugman, is lack of demand, and weak fiscal stimulus.
