When Derek Low was a freshman at UC Berkeley, he spent a few hundred dollars decking out his dorm room with technology.
He was able to turn on his lights with motion sensors, open the curtains with his tablet, and turn the room into sleep mode (or romantic mode) with his voice.
He calls his Berkeley Ridiculously Automated Dorm room, BRAD.
