Kevin, it’s worth noting that while Richard Grenell himself seems to be suggesting in his statement that pressure from some social conservatives was the issue (“[M]y ability to speak clearly and forcefully on the issues has been greatly diminished by the hyper-partisan discussion of personal issues that sometimes comes from a presidential campaign”), he also authored hundreds of controversial tweets.
