In the video, she talked about a drug called pertuzumab, which could buy her a bit more time with her husband and 11-year-old son, and possibly even save her life.
But since the drug isn't due to be released until June and doctors told Darlene she probably wouldn't live that long, she recorded the video with the mindset that she was likely saying a final goodbye to her family.
