Just this past summer, New York Rangers forward Brandon Dubinsky was one of the final candidates to sport the “C” on his sweater as the team’s captain. Fast forward one disappointing year for the 26-year-old center, and his absence in the Eastern Conference Semifinals has gone largely unnoticed.
