Just this past summer, New York Rangers forward Brandon Dubinsky was one of the final candidates to sport the “C” on his sweater as the team’s captain. Fast forward one disappointing year for the 26-year-old center, and his absence in the Eastern Conference Semifinals has gone largely unnoticed. According to the Andrew Gross of the Bergen Record, Brandon Dubsinky did not participate in an optional skate on Tuesday with the club and will likely miss Game 3 with a lower-body injury that has kept him out of the lineup since Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
