Sweet Jesus, Make It Stop: Pablo Sandoval Is Injured!

Oh geez. The San Francisco Giants were dealt another blow after Pedro Sandoval, arguably the team's best hitter, fractured his left hamate bone. (It's the "small, hook-like bone at the base of the hand, near the wrist.") If you recall, Sandoval injured right right hamate bone last season, which resulted surgery and six weeks on the DL. As The Splash points out, "clearly this is another major, traumatic blow for a team that already has lost closer Brian Wilson for the season.
