Juventus striker, Alessandro Del Piero, has hailed the recent Scudetto triumph as special due to the Calciopoli scandal that rocked the club in 2006.
The Old Lady’s Scudetto triumph was confirmed when they beat Cagliari 2-0 in the week 37 game of the season, and AC Milan lost 4-2 to Inter Milan in their respective game.
The Turin giants were relegated to Serie B following their involvement in match fixing, and were stripped off their two Serie A titles.
