Del. Bob Marshall (pictured) doesn’t believe Tracy Thorne-Bergland should be on the court because he’s gay. Social conservatives got their way and Berland was denied a judgeship on Richmond’s General District Court. Thorne-Begland’s nomination for a judgeship on the General District Court in Richmond, where he has been a prosecutor for 12 years, had been approved by courts committees in the House and Senate.
