Brooklyn Residents Launch Petition to Name Park After Beastie Boys' Adam Yauch
Photo by Ari Marcopoulos The latest tribute to the Beastie Boys' Adam "MCA" Yauch comes in the form of a petition from Brooklyn residents, Billboard reports. They're asking for Brooklyn Heights' Squibb Park to be renamed after Yauch, via a Facebook-launched petition. Squibb is currently named in honor of inventor and pharmaceutical pioneer Dr. Edward Robinson Squibb. It's in the process of being transformed into a skatepark.
