Earlier this week, Fox News chief Roger Ailes made news when he said that The Daily Show host Jon Stewart confided in Ailes that he was “a socialist.” A December 15, 2000 interview in CNN’s Larry King Live with Stewart reveals Ailes to be correct. Stewart told a caller to King’s show that “I would say I’m more of a socialist or an independent.”
