Police talk with gunman in Indiana hostage situation; shots confirmed
Updated at 3:24 p.m. ET: Police confirmed Friday that they exchanged gunfire with a gunman inside a real estate company office in Valparaiso, Ind. It wasn't known whether anyone was injured, but the gunman was still holding an unknown number of hostages, police said.
