My favorite Web search application on the iPad isn't a conventional browser, but has been Google's dedicated Google Search app since it was first released last fall. Recently, Google Search got its first version upgrade. Within the context of its focused functionality, Google Search is a better tool on iOS than any browser I've used on the platform, and it makes me wish there was an OS X version of the app.
