The Edmonton Oilers will have a few interesting options when they begin the 2012 NHL Draft by picking first for the third consecutive year. According to Mark Spector of Sportsnet.ca, the Oilers won't trade the pick and haven't chosen a player yet.

This is not very surprising since there isn't a clear top prospect on the draft board even though many have put Sarnia Sting star Nail Yakupov on top of their rankings.
